Luzifer Foerdeblick in Kiel

We got married in July 2020 and went to eat there afterwards (and not for the first time either ?). The location is great and there is a lot to see for the guests (especially those who are not from Kiel). You have to take care of the table decoration yourself in Lucifer, which I personally don't find bad, only the time to decorate was short because the room was previously occupied by another company. White tablecloths, candlesticks, menus with our menu and of course the dishes and glasses were provided. Due to Corona we were only a small wedding party with a total of 17 people, so a buffet was out of the question. A menu was agreed in advance with a total of three courses and the main course was steak, salmon and vegetarian options for the guests. We had previously ordered part of our menu in the restaurant as normal and had a test, so to speak, and were very pleasantly surprised on the day of our wedding that the portions were significantly larger, the food was very lovingly arranged and the meat quality was top. The guests loved it. A very nice greeting to the kitchen! Everyone put in a lot of effort and we were also congratulated very warmly. The service was also great, a member of staff was there for us the whole time and kept an eye on the guests. Incidentally, a highlight is the non-alcoholic cranberry cocktail, which was available at the reception as an alternative to Prosecco. We continue to order it every time we visit. We had also agreed beforehand that part of the outdoor terrace would be cordoned off for us so that our guests could sit outside, but unfortunately the weather on the day of our wedding was underground (12 degrees and rain in July ...). Still, it's great that it was made possible in principle. We can only recommend the Lucifer for weddings!

Nice locality, the breakfast is very rich at a reasonable price. The service was very nice and attentive. Bread / rolls could have been fresher.

We were there on Tuesday. It felt like 5 tables were occupied. The food and service were outstanding. Because we liked it so much, we went back today. Today all tables were really occupied. It was really impossible. My son had Kaiserschmarrn, it was brought lukewarm. The second portion was also lukewarm. The starter was cold. We will definitely not eat there again when it is full. What a shame.

Food as expected good. Price performance ratio Okay. If it hadn't been so dark, a great view for sure ?

We went with three people today 2nd time here and it was again great. Very nice service staff, hygiene concept was implemented well. We all had fried herring with fried potatoes and small, fresh and well dressed salad. Price / performance ratio completely okay, great Fjord view. We come from the Pinneberg district and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Not good quality at too high prices. Service friendly but overwhelmed. Tables have not been cleared for a long time. The French breakfast has nothing to do with France at all. 2 normal German rolls and 3 small dry slices of white bread with jam, honey and cream cheese and some scrambled eggs. In addition, a few old rocket leaves and 3 super mini pieces of melon. The only good thing is the beautiful view.

The food was delicious. Due to a wasp allergy, we took a seat inside despite the nice weather and got a very nice place at floor-to-ceiling windows. The view was very nice. The service was very friendly. Most of the audience was outside. We sat alone inside. Accordingly, it sometimes took a moment until someone was with us again. But all in all, we never waited long. When eating it was almost too fast :-) We would go there again and hope that it will be so pleasant. Only the toilet could be cleaned more often, especially at the time of Corona.

Registered due to corona and got a good seat. Food, as is often the case, is good, tasty and served very friendly. Then serve espresso with a glass of water. We'd love to come back.

Today we were in this beautifully located restaurant. We enjoyed the great food, the friendly service and the beautiful view in the sunshine. A successful day. This is definitely not the last time we have visited this place. THANK YOU FOR A SUCCESSFUL DAY

Reserved a table. When arriving at the announced time, the tables first had to be moved together. After 20 minutes we asked if we could do something, as nobody came from the restaurant. The food came about 45 minutes later. So we had to wait over an hour for the food. The restaurant was about 1/3 full. The food was good. For the prices shown, you can expect a different service. If the food hadn't been good, it would have deserved 0 stars. In terms of hygiene, the menus are a template for a smear infection.

The only good thing here: The great location and the fantastic view. Coffee and cake were ok, but nothing special. Service was simply not good from front to back. First of all, we waited forever at the entrance until we were spoken to and given a table. This was not cleared away for a long time and then was not wiped off - despite Corona hygiene measures. None of the waitresses wore mouth and nose protection. After 15 minutes our cake came, the coffee was a long time coming and then came on request (which we had to walk in for, because the staff does not come by to see if everything is okay) after the cake was finished. There was also a wrong drink. The replacement was so long in coming that we canceled it because an hour had passed. After a long wait we got the bill, but it was for another table and much too high for what we ordered. On our bill the canceled drink was still on it. That is why we were then no longer allowed to pay by card, as requested, and had to pay in cash. Overall, the waiters tried very hard, but were simply very unprofessional. In some cases, the reaction was rude when we noticed that things were not going well. It's a shame - so much potential from the location and the interior is really great. But unfortunately an absolute no-go.

Location and view top. Service friendly. But it takes too long. Many didn't even have their coffee after 30 minutes. Wheat beer was too warm. The surf and turf was an almost raw steak with three scampi on top. The salad was missing a dressing. The garlic bread was dry and not toasted. Somehow the taste of the Lucifer plate was missing. Wasn't that much either. But good. After complaining, the steak was still bloody, but not raw. You should ask guests how they would like the steak. The rosé was good. The Aperol Spritz too.

The service staff were very friendly to us, but you could tell that it wasn't necessarily the case at other tables. Unfortunately, this happens every now and then with Lucifer. Even good food doesn't help ...

Striking: none of the employees wore a face mask and no one asked for their name or address. Gaps between the tables no 1.5m. But the long waiting times are particularly serious. After half an hour came the mineral water, 20 minutes later the fruit salad, waited another 15 minutes for iced coffee and cappuccino. The cappuccino had probably been standing for a while, it was only lukewarm and the milk foam had already sagged. You have to wait a long time for the service - be patient

Enjoyable, but table allocation needs some work. No clear system for clients. One section closed but no signage hit and miss system for leaving your details. No assistance for a client with limited mobility just o point in the right direction.

We were served very friendly. We signed up for brunch and had a very good breakfast. Everything was nicely prepared and tasty. The hygiene concept is extremely good.

We got here today at 2:15 p.m. Order was only taken 20-30 minutes later and we have been waiting for a coffee and a coke for 25 minutes ... it has just been 40 minutes at an empty table. Really bad. After waiting so long, the waitress brought the wrong drink and now I'm curious to see when the waitress will come back. In 15 minutes it's an hour and we only got the coke and the coffee isn't there yet !!!

Great friendly service. You can sit outside great, have a great view and the plum cake was delicious. As always, it's a little insider tip. As always, I can only recommend it.

Although it was well attended, the service was impeccably good, friendly, funny and courteous. We had cake (plum sour cream) that was fresh and not too sweet. Can really recommend it.

The view was the only thing that made us stay there. The food was a little under cooked and very unseasoned for the price. Almost all the Staffs that day were very unfriendly which is very disappointing because it ruined our atmosphere. And the restaurant wasn’t even full. One of the waitresses mainly, was very rude and impolite we called her to our table to order several times and she just looked at us and looked away intentionally because she served every other table that came in after us !!. And that happened at least 6 times which was very disrespectful She just served all the tables around and beside us. And we had to wait 15mins for another waitress to come outside to take our order, just to find out that they ran out of espresso because that machine wasnt working. I guess we weren’t pretty enough for her to take notice of and to get a give a good service
